“Lovely quiet stay in the country side.”
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The location is in very picturesque countryside and quiet, despite being attached to their Public house. The guest house staff were very friendly and helpful and there were good drinks making facilities in the restaurant area. We ate most evening meals at the Star Inn nearby, which we enjoyed. The double bed was two singles pushed together, which we knew they would be. However unfortunately the duvet was also two large and heavy singles. The night was one long struggle with these, which either ended up on the floor or all tangled and doubled up in the middle of the bed. The bathroom blind was see through, which gave no privacy from the Pub grounds. Their Pub did not match the ambience or quality of the Guest house - our one meal there was not great
