The place is gorgeous and super convenient for touring the salar, but the price feels a bit steep for what you get, especially here in Bolivia.
The mattress actually heats up, which was a cool perk, but the rooms looked older than the photos, and the common areas weren’t heated—though that’s apparently normal in Bolivia. The indoor pool was broken, showers were either freezing or scalding, and there was no hot water from the taps. The restaurant and breakfast were underwhelming, so at the price we paid I’m not convinced it was worth it.

Everything was great—no complaints at all.
The staff were really friendly and the kids’ games were a nice touch, but the heating in the rooms and the cinema room left a lot to be desired. Other than that, everything was great.
“Amazing hotel on the Salar!”
From the moment we walked in, the hotel felt amazing—great style, friendly service, a nice spa, and spacious rooms. Breakfast was solid and dinner options were good. It’s definitely a luxury spot, so the rooms are on the pricey side even in low season. The only hiccup was that the sauna and steam room were closed in the morning despite being listed as open.
