The two owners, Esther and Thomas, made the stay great, with excellent breakfast, service, kindness, and a nice room.

Esther and Tom are the most fabulous hosts; the property is ideally located, immaculate, with a large, comfortable bed, modern furnishings, a spacious, up‑to‑date bathroom, heating, an electric blanket, extra blankets in the wardrobe, plentiful fresh breakfast including cooked options, small touches like fruit in the room, and a small port decanter each evening.

If you’re visiting Napier, this is the place to stay; Esther and her husband are terrific hosts, offering a pleasant welcome drink around 5 pm, situated right on the seafront with a nice walk into the old town, superb breakfasts, and though it’s on the higher end of the price range, it was worth it; Esther helped arrange a guided tour of the town, a personalized open‑top 1940 Packard car tour with an experienced guide for just four guests.

During our honeymoon in New Zealand, we stayed at 415 Marine Parade and had a wonderful time; Esther and Tom were kind and welcoming, the room was cozy, comfortable, well equipped, and the balcony view was lovely, making it a perfect place to relax.

Tom and Esther were attentive and thoughtful hosts; we enjoyed Napier thanks to their recommendations, and the breakfasts, midday treats, and happy‑hour drinks were great; we highly recommend 415 Marine Parade – the only B&B experience among several attempts that my husband liked!
