“Kind comfort in a beautiful historic building”
I can’t say enough good things about Fernando’s hostel. From the first message the communication was smooth and friendly, and Fernando arranged our check‑in after a long walk on the Camino. As a vegan and my wife a vegetarian, he cooked us a fantastic meal with fresh vegetables straight from his garden—delicious and a real kindness, just make sure to let him know ahead of time. We were a group of four and got an entire bunk room to ourselves. The building is a charming, converted old mill that still has all the comforts you need after a day’s hike, and if it’s hot you can even soak your feet in the stream right in front of the property. It’s a little out of the main town, but there’s a shortcut back onto the Camino for the next morning. We’d love to stay again and would definitely recommend it.
