The place was disgusting, dirty, and loud; the curtain was broken, towels stank, and the bedsheets never seemed to be changed.

The breakfast toastie and coffee were decent and the staff were genuinely friendly, always ready to lend a hand. Unfortunately the air‑conditioning was dead, the TV only had Netflix and no free‑to‑air channels, and the room stayed chilly with no extra heating. The spare blanket was a crumpled mess in the cupboard, and the double‑room only got one cup and a mug for tea. The place could really use a solid refurbishment.

The people at the front desk were incredibly helpful and pleasant, never making a fuss over anything I asked. On the downside, the coffee setup was missing milk, and the TV only offered Netflix and YouTube until the manager stepped in to sort it out. The floor looked like it hadn’t been swept and the room wasn’t properly prepared for guests.

Staff were awesome, the breakfast was lovely and the room was comfortable enough that I’d gladly book again and tell anyone heading out west to stay here. Honestly, I loved everything about the place.
