The hotel is close to main attractions, the breakfast is good but could offer more variety, especially in sweets which were almost non‑existent; the staff were welcoming, spoke good Italian even though they were still learning. Unfortunately, parking in the historic centre is a nightmare—blocked streets meant we had to walk about 15 minutes with two adults, a stroller, a 4‑year‑old, three backpacks and a suitcase. Later that evening, when I unplugged a socket near the bed to charge my phone, the air‑conditioner fell off; we were sweltering until a staff member arrived after 30 minutes, tried to change rooms but we stayed in the same room, and by fiddling with the sockets we figured out the source of the problem.
