This campsite is a real gem! The setting is simply incredible, a small slice of wild, peaceful paradise. What made our stay truly magical was the kindness of the team: a special shout‑out to the gardener, who kindly revealed a hidden monkey in the trees—a moment we wouldn’t have seen otherwise! A huge thank you to the caretaker, Michel, whose fantastic advice and friendliness transformed our trip. Our stay would have been very different without his presence and generosity. A fantastic human experience in nature, and we recommend this place with our eyes closed! The address listed on Booking is incorrect.

Esperanto Lodge ranks among the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. It feels like a jungle oasis, and the huts are very homely. The walk down to the beach feels like a fairy‑tale. If you’re after a nature escape, I can’t recommend Esperanto Lodge enough. The food is quite pricey for what you get.

A tiny paradise right next to the beach, impeccably kept and clean—quite uncommon in Senegal—plus a devoted staff. Omar’s kindness will stay with us for a long time, and the walk to the fishing port is a must-see. We’d have liked the owners on hand to guide us on which excursions to take or avoid, but everyone deserves a vacation. We fell victim to a theft, yet the staff did everything possible to help us, even going above and beyond.

The place, the villa, the kitchen, the nearby beach, and the quiet atmosphere were all great. The staff were a major issue; whenever we needed them, we had to chase them down, and we asked for a taxi five times just to get information.
