“Perfect for C&O visitors!”

Great people and a co‑located diner, perfect if you’re cycling the C&O Canal Towpath; the motel gave us a hose and towels to clean up the bikes after a muddy day on the trail.

“The room was comfortable, the location was good and the restaurant served a great breakfast.”

The location was perfect for visiting family nearby. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant next door served a good breakfast. The A/C wouldn’t turn off, but they fixed it the next day. There were no USB ports for charging your phone.

The room was spotless and comfortable, with a large chair and footrest that made it a very nice space. The staff were friendly, one even held the door for me while lugging a large pile of towels, and checking in was a breeze. The attached diner is pretty cute. I was biking along the C&O canal trail, and the hotel’s location meant a steep uphill ride to get there, but they were very accommodating for riders, offering a bike wash area and letting me stow my bike in the room, which I really appreciated; the return trip to the trail the next morning was an easy downhill.

“SEE above”

I was told my booking had been canceled when I arrived, and it took 45 minutes to rebook a room that ended up costing me more than the original reservation. The lady was rude, and I was unaware of a 50‑hold fee. There was no coffee in the room, no breakfast at the hotel, so I had to eat at the attached restaurant. Dogs in other rooms were barking, and I will never stay there again.

“I love this place. It was my 2nd time staying there.”

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. It’s a bit far from the bike path and sits on top of a hill, and it’s odd that check‑in takes place in the diner.
