The place was pricey compared to other three‑bedroom spots around Port Douglas, but the salt‑water pools were fantastic!

“Pool and restaurant great. Rooms rundown and poorly cleaned.”

The pool was clean and great, and the gardens were well maintained with a super friendly keeper. However, the rooms were poorly cleaned—hair littered the floor, the couch had food crumbs behind the cushions, and the toilets only had a quick wipe, leaving the upper rims still quite dirty. The shower didn’t drain, and faulty lights in our bathroom meant one of the bathrooms was unusable the first night, though it was fixed the next day. The rooms looked dated and run‑down. We talked to reception twice and sent an email asking for feedback before leaving, but only got a reply after a second follow‑up. It felt like a lot of money for this type of room.

“We had a lovely time in Palm Cove.”

The location was great, the service lovely, and the rock pool beautiful. Being on the bottom floor gave us easy access and plenty of space. The internet was terrible, the front‑door TV and remote were awful and hard to use, and the bathrooms needed an upgrade.

“Beautiful stay in stunning palm cove.”

Great location, beautiful beach, nunu restaurant was spectacular, kids loved the pools, rooms were nice and comfortable. Great beds!. Bathrooms need to be brought up to the same standard as the rest of the property. Also drinks and food service at the pool would lift the experience. And there’s no elevator which makes large bags difficult
