The central location and easy access to all sights, the river, and a local fridge in the room made it convenient; tea and coffee were delivered on request. I could leave my luggage at the front desk at 10 am on the arrival day and also leave it in the hallway until the afternoon on the last day, using a code and key for the door, which was very handy. The furnishings are clearly showing their age; the bed cover looked dirty, one window couldn’t be opened, the other was above head height and could only be opened with a pole. The mattresses were sagging. Overall, the room felt very dark because the small window opened onto a narrow back‑yard, but it was quiet. An interior staircase led upstairs to another bed that could not be used because of the low ceiling, so I was afraid of falling or hurting myself at night. The bathroom was interior, the seams were a bit crusty and in need of renewal, and it always smelled damp. On the last evening the kettle stopped working, and because the reception was only open from about 10 to 12 am, no help was available. For breakfast, I had to go out with a meal voucher; there was no map, which made it difficult the first time. There was only one cup of coffee, one glass of juice, and one croissant—nothing more. B&B is better!

Convenient location, communication with staff was excellent. The room was spacious. It was noisy with other guests, and the front door was often slammed. The hallway lights on the stairs sometimes went off, which happened twice while carrying bags and felt unsafe. The bathroom could be a bit cleaner, especially the shower.

The bed linen was impeccable. That was all! We got a room with an external private bathroom, but it was cramped and smelled like a septic tank. To get to the bed I had to climb a staircase and the bed was almost against the ceiling.

The room’s cleanliness and bed linen were impeccable. We weren’t told there would be a code to enter the building. We got lost looking for the entrance because there was no sign outside. It isn’t a hotel, but rooms on the first floor of a very old building without an elevator. The window in our room faced an internal area of the building like a storage room, so our window stayed closed.
