The room’s cleanliness was good, and the kitchenette was well supplied, with plenty of wet wipes and bed linen. I had booked a “cabin” lakeside, only to find on arrival that lakeside doesn’t mean lakefront: the cabins that face the lakefront aren’t listed on the site, and the lakeside cabin actually faces the parking lot. It’s just a regular motel room on the ground floor, and the highway runs right next to the cabins, which is inconvenient for anyone wanting the place’s tranquility.

“Lovely little cabin with private beach access. The room had a smart and kitchen, but the bed is small and uncomfortable.”

I appreciated how well-equipped the cabin was, with a kitchen, living area, bathroom, and bedroom all included, and the private lake/beachfront access was a nice bonus. The bed, however, was a full size and too small for two adults, with a lumpy mattress that left my body aching each night.

The location was great, but we booked what we thought were identical rooms; one came with a king bed and a small couch, while the other had a queen bed and no couch.

The place was convenient, yet the bathroom fan was broken, the stove wouldn’t heat, and water was cut off from 9‑11 am, forcing us to leave early since checkout was at 11 am.
