The room was clean, but the staff were not warm—just robotically efficient and no-nonsense, which is fine, but a warm welcome would have eased the fatigue from a long drive.

Getting to the nearby shops is easy, but the stay cost $25 more than quoted, and I haven’t received an invoice to find out why.

Breakfast was excellent—great strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. The coffee station was conveniently located and out of the way where food was served. The location itself is great. However, there were no bath towels in the room, so I had to use hand towels after showering. I also spotted dust or dirt near the bed when I dropped a bottle cap. Parking spots were insufficient. When I checked in, the person at the desk was eating French fries and wiping her hands on her pants—yuck!
