“River bank stay”

I picked this place mainly for its location on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, and it lived up to my expectations; I could enjoy evening tea right by the water. Parking is ample and a driver is available. The rooms are well-equipped, and the heater was a lifesaver on our first chilly night. Manager Mr. Negi was very friendly and helped me explore nearby sights, and the rest of the staff were also good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Harshil. Nothing to complain about.

Huge thanks to Mr Negi ji, Mr Manoj Raut sir and Soumya madam for their amazing assistance that let us, coming from Bangalore, finish the Gaumukh trek with proper lodging and meals at Bhojbasa‑RamBaba Ashram; we originally booked just one night but ended up staying over four days thanks to Mr Negi introducing us to Mr Manoj Raut, whose guidance made our Uttarakhand trip both successful and unforgettable, the rooms were clean, the staff everywhere helpful, the food tasty and always open to price negotiation, and finally Bablu bhai – तुम सा नहीं प्यारा कोई मासूम नहीं है.

The staff are great and the food is amazing, and they make sure to deliver exactly what you ask for, but the electricity availability is an issue.

I recently had a mixed experience at this hotel. The property itself was lovely, and the location was perfect. However, the staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the owner was a major letdown. When I asked about the amenities listed on the site, she became defensive and even suggested I leave the property. Her lack of compassion and constant denial was shocking.
