The people were very friendly and the service superb! The location right on the Tabular Hills Walk made it very appealing. In the afternoon the staff called to let us know the pub’s closing time and that dinner wasn’t available, which was frustrating. The gentleman apologized, gave me cake and a sausage roll, and even searched for other dining options. He was extremely kind. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and even had breakfast ready for the next morning. It was clean and comfortable. The only negative was that I only stayed one night.

The spot is perfect for walking or exploring locally. The pub serves good food, but you need to book a table beforehand. The accommodation was clean, comfy, and came with bread, milk, and fruit juice. There’s a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook.

The accommodation was very spacious, the bed super comfortable, the shower area huge, and the kitchen had everything needed—very clean overall. The bed was large and comfy, but the pillows were lower quality and didn’t match the bed’s support. Wi‑Fi was spotty, constantly dropping and unreliable.

The room was at the end of a long walk. The pub, which the website said would be open for food and drinks, was closed. We would not have booked if we’d known, because on a walking holiday we can’t just hop in a car and find a place to eat. Not happy.
