Staff and meals were terrific, the shower had good pressure and hot water but the bathrooms were old, and a dog barked continuously next door until the night; the bed and pillow were uncomfortable. I paid $140 as a walk‑in after someone else had checked in for “the biggest room” at $120.

We arrived after the agreed time, the front desk was already closed, but the owner quickly came to greet us after a phone call. When paying, the owner charged me an extra $10, making the total $250 instead of the booked $240; I asked why, and he gave a long explanation, so I reluctantly paid the unreasonable extra $10 to get in quickly.
