We love the design of the black house, it was beautifully furnished, and the staff were excellent, really kind and helpful.

The place was calm, quiet, and the location let me reach any spot on the island in no more than 30/40 minutes. Breakfast was also excellent. The only thing I’d suggest is a slightly larger TV for a studio of this size; nothing else ruined the experience.

The homes were beautiful, quiet, and private, situated in a great spot near downtown Ponta Delgada with easy access to various parts of the island. We appreciated the staff’s thoughtfulness and the peacefulness of our stay; it was truly a special place to slow down and enjoy.
