“Wonderful experience at a well-run family property”

I stayed at Edone as our base for exploring this part of Sicily, and it turned out to be a solid choice. Gaetana (Tanya) was exceptionally welcoming all through, serving breakfast and coffee each morning and hosting several tasty dinners made with fresh garden produce, which felt refreshing compared to typical hotel stays with gorgeous views and lush grounds. I’d highly recommend it. On the downside, the room was a bit dark and had no Wi‑Fi, and the AC sometimes failed to cool enough for sleeping—acceptable in October but a potential issue in summer. Also, you’ll need a car because nothing is really walkable, though that wasn’t a problem for us.

The location was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really tasty.

The surroundings were lovely and peaceful, the breakfasts were fantastic, and the staff were genuinely friendly. The only downside was that the AC didn’t keep the room cool.

The rooms were spacious, the staff were friendly, and the earlier reviews about Tania were definitely not exaggerated. Breakfast was served outside on the terrace, and the large pool was beautiful.

Because of the Ryanair strike, two days of our stay were ruined by smoke, and of course the hotel had no responsibility for that.
