The room was clean and the breakfast was excellent and varied. The reception staff didn’t help at all with our request for information or support on where to buy train tickets for Bago. Since it’s hard to get transport tickets in Myanmar and given the ridiculous tourist flow, a little effort would have been kind. Also the location is not convenient for visiting Yangon. We didn’t like the room with the window that let in little light.

There’s a pool and a gym, the staff are enthusiastic, the service is solid, and breakfast is good 👍. The only issue is that the lighting isn’t bright enough.

The room was large. The room’s rusty trash can, the pool with beer bottles everywhere, and the AC leaking in the room—reported twice—were problems. Breakfast buffet had cold dishes and not much for foreigners.
