The airport proximity was convenient, though I didn’t rely on Grab or Gojek; we ended up walking 25 minutes. The hotel was nicely set in greenery and the staff were friendly. The AC didn’t work—it would turn on but never cool the room, even at the highest setting. There were many mosquitoes, ants, and other insects inside because of numerous open gaps. The bathroom was tiny, the shower head hung low, and the sink was outside the bathroom; overall it wasn’t very clean.

The location relative to the airport was perfect, and the room was very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was still wrapped in its packaging, which was confusing. There was no mirror above the sink. The shower head was positioned right in front of the toilet and in the corner, making it hard to shower properly. Walls were damaged and stained all over, looking awful. Openings were finished with cardboard. For the nightly price, I expected more. Also, there was no toilet paper or mini fridge. It’s a hotel, and I’ve slept in better hostels for far less money.

This is the closest budget hotel to the airport, yet it’s still a decent 30‑minute walk. The room is huge with a small seating area outside and a big, comfy bed. There isn’t much nearby and local restaurants close early, so if you arrive late, make sure you’ve already eaten.

We liked how close it was to Yogyakarta International Airport for an early flight. The neighborhood is quiet and the hotel is within walking distance of a large hotel where you can grab coffee. We asked to check in on the ground floor because we had many bags, and they accommodated us without fuss. However, we were warned about a deposit (paper ID or cash) for potential damage. We declined, and after being shown the room—where there was hardly anything that could be damaged—I asked the staff what could possibly be damaged, and she blamed cheap construction and amenities on guests, making them pay. The wardrobe was flimsy and could have been accused of being ripped, with the door almost falling, and we were asked to pay for it. The bathroom had a strong, unpleasant odor and was unclean at check‑in, even though we had requested a ground‑floor room for our luggage. There weren’t many dining options nearby, but a small, humble place selling fried rice and noodles was within a 5‑minute walk.
