The pool was calm, the forest was quiet, and the air was fresh. The food could have been a touch better and the portions were a bit small.

The decor looked stylish and tasteful, avoiding the usual heavy, over‑decorated Tuscan vibe with its bright colors; instead the style was lighter with hand‑painted walls. Yet the stay felt utterly careless and lacking warmth. Check‑in was unacceptable: the staff barely greeted us or spoke. Even with language barriers, basic welcoming hospitality is a must for international guests. We received no tour of the property and only discovered the on‑site restaurant by accident after three days. Staff turnover was daily with no consistency, and almost nobody spoke basic English; only one person displayed genuine Italian warmth. The room details reflected this neglect: the in‑room information was a cheap, laminated paper of rules and restrictions instead of a welcoming note, and the QR codes didn’t work. Amenities were minimal—just soap and shower gel. A half‑empty amenity box from a different hotel was left in the bathroom and never restocked. Housekeeping was sloppy: the flimsy, worn door sign didn’t hang properly, and when we finally got it to stay on “Do Not Disturb,” housekeeping ignored it entirely while we were in meetings. Fresh towels were tossed randomly instead of being hung. Privacy was minimal. The property is small but crowded, so tables at the bistro and loungers at the pool are packed tightly together, leaving no personal space. The pictures and the use of “resort” in the name are misleading—this is a small guesthouse, not a professional resort. With a mediocre, overpriced restaurant and the overall lack of service quality, the price is completely unjustified.

The resort was very pretty, surrounded by nature. I tried some services (breakfast, dinner, pool) and was very satisfied, especially with the staff’s availability. I also appreciated the respect for quiet relaxation. Nothing could change my favorable opinion: only a few “things” in routine maintenance management that some parts required.
