“Such a lovely villa to stay”

We had wonderful experience at Villa Cleto. The room was spotless, so clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The owner and his family were so friendly and helpful. The location was quiet but convenient. I will choose to stay for my next trip to Panjim. There is no lift in the building. They helped my luggage to 2nd floor

Villa Cleto is a good option if you want to be walking distance to the town and Fontainas (a ten minute walk), when you’re travelling on a budget. We stayed in Room 103, it’s cosy and with a balcony enough for two chairs. It was clean and with a kettle, a couple of bottles of water on arrival, good water pressure and hot shower, air con and fan, and regular cleaning. The on-site family shop downstairs has the essentials and John runs the pharmacy across the road. There is a closed upstairs terrace for hanging washing and a small kitchen. On John’s recommendation the veg restaurant Chudupi Annapuri, a five minute walk, was a good option for local food. He organised our taxi to Candolim which was cheaper than what we’d been quoted elsewhere. John and his family are friendly and helpful and I enjoyed our stay here
