Even though I arrived late at night, they waited for me and were very kind, even leaving water for me. I wish they had slippers, and the shoe storage was wet at night, so I think moving it would help.

We stayed at this guesthouse and ended up extending our visit from one night to three because we loved it. The location is perfect: only a minute from the beach and town centre, yet tucked into a quiet street where you can hear the waves from your room. The room was very pleasant, with excellent bedding, air‑conditioning, a ceiling fan and a mosquito net. The bathroom was also great, with good water pressure—definitely the most comfortable room I’ve had in Sri Lanka. The host, Kasun, was extremely welcoming, available and caring, greeting us with fresh coconut juice. A special shout‑out to his wife’s breakfast, the best of our trip: hearty, varied and absolutely delicious. A wonderful spot to pause and feel at ease on a road trip. I’d recommend it without hesitation. Everything was perfect.

The shower had hot water and plenty of pressure, the bed had a mosquito net, the veranda was lovely and just one minute to the beach. Everything was very tidy. The only downside was that only core soap was provided.

We were greeted by a lovely host family who served huge, tasty breakfasts each morning and even let us watch a football match with them. It’s right next to the beautiful beach.
