The Gran Hotel Victoria is situated between Santander's Gran Casino and the Magdalena Palace, just 100 metres from Sardinero Beach. Each room features soft colours, wooden floors, private balconies, and sea views. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, minibars, safes, and private bathrooms with toiletries and hairdryers. The hotel serves traditional Cantabrian cuisine on its garden terrace, near the city centre and ferry port, with regular bus services nearby.

The hotel staff were attentive, especially Alfonso who constantly gave us local recommendations; he was very pleasant and meticulous, and the palace felt like a magical place that surrounds you and lets you disconnect.

Location, beds, staff treatment, views… The only issue might have been that the dinner menu (we were on half‑board) seemed a bit too focused on meals.

I’ve stayed here for years and love the location, so we came back this year to room 103, a spacious room with a terrace. We skipped breakfast but booked parking for one day at €25. I wish the price were lower 🤪😅, but hotel rates are rising everywhere. The hotel’s location is great for us, obviously.
