The location was suitable for my event. The cleanliness was not acceptable; it was partly dusty, the bathroom floor was poorly cleaned, there were hairs on the floor and the area behind the door had not been cleaned for a long time. Breakfast was very disappointing, and toward the end there was an issue with the bill that could definitely have been handled differently. I will not return.

The breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly, but we had to pay 12 € to store our bicycles and another 5 € per battery to charge them.

A very welcoming and friendly couple tried to accommodate any requests and needs where possible; Wendelstein is a lovely little town, and the hotel is very traditional, fitting the German/Bavarian architecture, yet the furnishings and facilities are quite basic.

The location on the bike path is convenient, but parking bikes in the garage costs 5 € per bike and charging batteries is another 5 € per battery; whether that’s fair is up to each guest, and we, who often go on bike tours, found it not customer‑friendly.
