“Room Did Not Match the Booking”
I booked a room that turned out nothing like the one I received. The front desk explained that only four of the corner rooms I had selected were available and they were all occupied. When I pointed out that the room lacked a bathtub—an amenity listed in the description—I was told I should have requested it beforehand. The staff’s response was “I don’t know where you are from,” which was irrelevant. In the past, when a room was unavailable, the desk would inform me at check‑in and upgrade me free of charge, but here I was handed a lower‑tier room without notice. The bathroom smelled awful, and the odor spread through the entire room. After checking other listings online, I realized the room I got was a standard king‑size room presented as a “Deluxe King.” The staff refused to acknowledge the problem, were rude, and didn’t take responsibility. The first front desk employee was unprofessional from the start; as I tried to explain, she got irritated, called another receptionist, and I had to repeat the whole story again.
