The staff were very kind, and the breakfast was varied and complete, though the selection was limited. The B&B’s location guarantees peace, tucked into the Frisian countryside, making it a great base for cycling around. The room was truly spacious. The bathroom was basic; a small wardrobe for clothes would have been nice.

The bread wasn’t fresh, a bit dried out. The building is very noisy; I couldn’t sleep all night because of the loud sounds from all the guests in the rooms above mine, with no sound insulation. A constant hum from a fan above me lasted the whole night. No dinner delivery from nearby restaurants was possible, and in the B&B there was no dinner service in the evening either.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was extensive. The steep steps, old showers that look unhygienic, and the muffled bedding were disappointing.
