Motel Royal in Cabano offers panoramic Lake Temiscouata views from every room, complete with free Wi‑Fi, cable TV, coffee machine, and private bathroom. Guests enjoy on‑site parking, fax and photocopy services, and easy access to Fort Ingall (5‑minute drive) and the Pub restaurant (walkable). The nearby Temiscouata Museum adds cultural appeal.

The proprietor was very friendly and let us check in early while recommending a fantastic cheese shop. The room was very comfortable. This is a lovely little town to stay in. I usually prefer a queen bed, but the double was fine.

The staff were friendly, the room matched the description, and the location by the lake is great. A kettle would have been nice, but that’s a minor thing.

We drove all the way from Ottawa and finally got there at 9:30pm, where a gentleman greeted us right away and everything else was perfect.
