The room was cozy, and finally someone had prepared five mugs for us—always a family member’s request, and we had to borrow. The bathroom had a nice shelf, and we didn’t have to leave clothes and cosmetics on the floor. The downside was the music noise from a party in the restaurant until the morning, which made sleeping hard. We had planned a family dinner at the restaurant, only to find out it was closed for a party.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very bad, towels were worse, the house‑keeping was poor, and everything felt very small and inadequate.

We arrived with our daughter and were handed a room that was filthy, stank of mold, and had a roof‑window that was too high to open. After we reported it, the staff swapped us for another room of the same style. Only after a third intervention did we finally receive a room on a different floor that met the price level. Also, the bedside lamp was so hot that my daughter almost burned her hand when she tried to move it.

The hotel’s spot is great for a one‑night stay, just off the motorway, and the front desk team were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was pretty basic, and the room’s furniture and décor clearly need a refresh.
