The hosts were lovely and the English breakfast was incredible. The hotel is close to Heathrow airport.

I was looking for a spot near Heathrow to catch an early flight, and The Lodge turned out to be about 10 minutes from the car‑rental return, which made it spot on. The hosts were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was comfy and had a fan, which was a welcome relief after a warm day. We could park just outside the hotel, which was great. The only minor gripe was that the bathroom felt a little small.

I tried to cancel the stay but they gave me no options; I only stayed for 5 minutes. I didn’t actually check in because I was treated poorly—whoever welcomed me shouted at me just because I asked if there was a bathroom. The person was completely insane. I felt unsafe and feared being assaulted since he chased me, shouting and insulting me.
