Breakfast arrived on time and stayed hot, but the air conditioning didn’t work well, producing a dripping water sound at night; I couldn’t open the window because the fly screen was painted shut.

There was no security at all, my car was broken into, and I couldn’t do anything because they had no security cameras to prove it to the police; I was not happy at all.

Nothing positive; upon arrival I was questioned about who was staying, how many, and where the others were. The male owner demanded to see who was in the car and whether they were from Echuca, claiming “you people (Aboriginal) trash is rooms evertime.” I told him we were not from the township, yet he was very rude and disgusted that I had to deal with a racist owner, told me to “chill out,” then walked back to reception and said he would refund the stay.

The staff were very friendly and I would definitely recommend staying there 🙂

Super cheap and you get exactly what you pay for; it’s quiet and private. The amenities were very basic, just a place to sleep, and the TV was hard to use, only reliably showing one channel.
