Hotel Plankl in Altötting's centre offers themed rooms, a spa with swimming pool, and free parking. The hotel sits right in the center, making it easy to explore Altötting and the surrounding area. Breakfast had everything you’d expect from a good spread, and the rooms were just right for our short getaway. A small fridge in the room would have been a nice addition, but otherwise there was nothing to complain about.

Located in the city centre yet surprisingly quiet, the hotel offered a superb breakfast buffet and courteous staff. I enjoyed the pool all to myself. The shower lacked soap and shampoo, which is standard nowadays, and the pillow was quite lumpy in terms of filling.

The room and bathroom were spacious with plenty of room to move around. Parking in the hotel courtyard was free of charge. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the staff were friendly.
