The motel sits on the corner of Ocean Ave and 12th Street, and 12th Street leads straight to the boardwalk entrance, so no busy streets to cross. Every morning, coffee was available at the motel office. Our room was clean, had updated modern fixtures, a microwave and a refrigerator; there was no carpeting, just easy‑to‑clean hard‑surface flooring throughout. The motel says quiet time starts after 10 PM, and we didn’t have any noisy guests on our end. The only drawback was that our unit had a tub shower instead of a walk‑in shower, and there was only a single light‑blocking curtain slider— a patterned sheer slider would have added natural light during the day. We mention this only because the severe weather forced us to spend a lot more time inside our unit.

The spot’s location and price are spot on, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I even got to use the shower facilities after checking out, which was a nice touch.

Access was easy and the location was good, and the place was very clean. The stairs were difficult to navigate, the bathroom lighting was very dim, and the room wasn’t cleaned on one day of my stay. It wasn’t a major issue, but when I told the front desk, they checked their records and said they would talk to the person who was one of their best. That’s fine, but I would have liked a simple “we’re sorry about that.” After all, my bed was unmade, trash was left in the room, and the towels needed changing.

The hotel’s location is unbeatable, and everything was super convenient; the staff were all very friendly.
