The hot water was very strong, then it stopped. The whole wooden lodge was mouldy, the bathroom fixtures were from about thirty years ago, extremely dirty and terrible, the park area was huge but you couldn’t park; after arriving I realized I had to wait in the rain at a completely un‑sheltered spot for a shuttle to the park, and there were only two shuttles, so each time we had to circle around a lot waiting for other guests. Almost all the advertised resort facilities were permanently closed, breakfast was awful, the room light was very dim, sound insulation was terrible—rooms next to a little lane could hear every phone ring, the curtains blocked almost nothing and you could see right through, you could even see someone changing clothes. The shower curtain was stained with reddish‑brown spots that looked like rust or blood, and when the neighbour flushed, water backed up into our bathroom.

The only thing that could be called somewhat satisfactory was the breakfast. The facilities were old—wooden cabins were worn, soundproofing was poor, and the room items showed clear signs of previous use with no updates. The staff showed no service mindset: they said no to a booked shuttle, claimed there was no Pingtung tourism GO lottery, reluctantly produced a stay voucher and even wrote the accommodation number wrong. After checking in, getting around was hard because shuttles were scarce, calling a car meant a long wait and wasted time, so the overall experience was very poor.
