There are bus stops not far from the hotel. The hotel itself was very dirty; we stayed two nights and the toilets were never cleaned. Every bed was covered in unused linen, giving it a homeless shelter vibe. I’m unsure if the linens and towels were replaced. Japanese standards are usually high, but this place fell far below. The lobby was messy, dusty, and not tidy. It could improve if management raised cleanliness standards.

I liked the quiet residential area near Daitokuji Temple, and the bed was clean. The house was very old, and I couldn’t believe the owner started the washing machine at 11:30 PM! Everything else was filthy and cluttered.
