The inn offers self‑check‑in, the rooms are larger than expected, and you get a view of the hot springs from the window; a bus stop is nearby. The owner seems to speak Chinese, and I confirmed I could use English, so there was no language barrier and communication went smoothly. During check‑in I couldn’t find the tablet, which was a bit scary, but the information on the whiteboard solved the problem.

It’s a bit farther from the station, but it’s within walking distance to the beach and the shopping street, which is convenient. The toilet lock was broken, and there’s no fall‑prevention on the windows, so be careful if you have small children.
