The location is good, but you must bring your own towels, pillows, a scoop to clean out the braai, and black bags for the bins—it's hardcore self‑catering, so be over‑prepared. If you’re a morning person, the curtainless rooms won’t be an issue because the sun will wake you up at 5 AM.

I found the getaway from the hectic world refreshing, an amazing gateway, but we had no electricity during our stay.

The place was great: the location, the unit, forest/mountain walks, hot tub functioning, ponies, succulents and fynbos, view, and sleeping without curtains/blinds letting me see the skyline at moonshine and sunrise; it felt very safe. I wish the succulents were watered more, I love them.

The cabin was impeccable—neat, clean, beautifully decorated—making it an excellent spot to escape for well‑deserved downtime, and I’ll definitely come back. The fridge in the room made a bit of noise.
