A very friendly, spacious holiday home with a Japanese vibe. The doors are low, so taller folks might bump their heads.
“Great”
A beautiful apartment styled traditionally, with staff who greeted us with wine and snacks and had the space nicely cooled before we arrived. All the recommendations were spot on.
“The kind of place you instantly feel at one with the history of this beautiful home”
The atmosphere the moment you walk in is life changing. The only thing we did not like is that we had to eventually leave
“A home away from home- cozy, welcoming and comfortable.”
The place felt like a second home, complete with welcome snacks and drinks that were really thoughtful. We enjoyed learning a bit about the house’s history and the owners, which made us feel part of the ongoing story. Nothing to complain about – it was simply wonderful.
The house is stunning and a refuge from the hustle of Kyoto. The hosts are lovely, quick to respond, and meticulous; we appreciated the drinks and snacks they left for us. They clearly take pride in their home and business, and I would highly recommend staying here in Kyoto. The historic nature of the house means the stairs are steep, so visitors should be aware.
