A real bed‑and‑breakfast experience in a charming 100‑year‑old house with harbor views, a sunporch, and a hot tub. Marie, the host, made everything easy, served a first‑rate breakfast with homemade jams and jelly, and our room – the “Village Rm” – was spacious and had what might be the best bed I’ve ever slept in. The only drawback was the old‑house layout, which put the shower in its own room across the hall, but that wasn’t a big deal.

“We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.”

Marie, the owner, always tries to please and is very kind; she made tea and home‑baked cookies for us when we arrived. The breakfast was delicious, with a fresh fruit smoothie and baked goods that were tasty. We had our own toilet and sink in the room, and a shared shower across from our room, which worked out fine.

“She'll take care of you”

Marie is a sweet lady and a gem; you feel very welcome and she even makes cookies. The room is nice, clean, and tastefully decorated at a hotel level, yet it feels like home. Breakfast was fabulous with good portions, good coffee, and hot, tasty food. The photo doesn’t capture it; I hadn’t yet poured the fresh homemade blueberry syrup on the French toast. She’s the grandma you wish you had. Dinner at the Harbour View restaurant was good, with wonderful seafood chowder and milkshakes. The only downside is that the pillows may be too large or tall; ask for smaller ones if needed.

We were warmly welcomed by Marie. The rooms are cozy, and the breakfast Marie prepared fresh was very tasty, the best breakfast on our trip by far.
