Akropolis Hotel

“Überraschend”

The rooms were modernly equipped, the beds were comfortable, the staff were very courteous, and the restaurant food was delicious; it was only a short walk to the subway station, so the city centre was reachable in 20 minutes, but everything else was just okay.

“Für Handwerker auf Montage durchaus geeignet. Für mich als Privatperson aber enttäuschend.”

The location was quiet, but the automatic check‑in didn’t work. After several phone calls, I finally managed to leave my luggage in the room and could only pick up the key card in the evening at the restaurant (there was no front desk). On the second day the key card stopped working again and had to be reactivated at the restaurant. The breakfast was simple and overpriced at 20,00 €.

“Modern stay excellent location”

Great spot near a bakery/café for early breakfast, a clean modern room with a powerful fan. The Greek restaurant, probably run by the same owners, is outstanding. Check‑in and check‑out are fully automated, and I didn’t see any staff. Convenient private parking, not far from the metro and buses. The only downside was that the room didn’t have a mini‑fridge; there was an empty fridge cupboard instead.

The hotel sits in a quiet spot, with nearby shops and plenty of parking. The breakfast was cancelled, but the host reacted quickly and kindly.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was super clean, the bathroom and furnishings were new. We arrived during very hot temperatures, so the rooms were a bit warm; an air‑conditioner would have been ideal. For one night, the fan was sufficient.
