Located within Tayrona National Natural Park, 33 km from Santa Marta, Ecohotel Yachay Tayrona features a terrace with mountain views and direct access to nature. The hotel offers a gourmet restaurant, humidity area, and catamaran mesh, as well as free Wi-Fi and private parking. Rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, and seating areas, with breakfast served at the table.

The staff were very, very friendly and everyone was attentive, but they didn’t help with several matters. The windows were opaque, so if you wanted to see outside you had to open the windows, and in an environment with so many mosquitoes that wasn’t an option. I would have appreciated mosquito nets on the windows to look out, or large glass windows to view the surroundings from the room.

It’s much more beautiful than the photos. It’s very quiet, ideal for relaxing and disconnecting from the world. Everything was perfect.

The hotel’s facilities are very pretty; it’s clear they take the time to care for the place. The food is very expensive. The hotel is very close to the entrance of Parque Tayrona. It’s not such a remote spot to charge so much for the food.

The staff’s attention, the comfort, the cleanliness, and having hot drinks available all the time. Nothing, everything was excellent.

The service at the hotel was excellent, the facilities are very pretty, and there is a lot of nature around; we saw different species of monkeys during our stay, and the social areas are lovely, perfect for relaxing. The food at the restaurant is very tasty. It has many comforts for staying inside Tayrona Park, so staying at this hotel is worthwhile. The only downside is that we didn't stay at least two nights to fully enjoy all the hotel’s amenities.
