The place looks great and the shared kitchen is a nice extra. Thimios, the host, was helpful, showed us how things worked, and gave us a quick way to reach him. On the last evening, around 7 pm, a fire erupted and the owner sent a message telling us to leave the lodging and head closer to the beach while the blaze was being controlled (it actually got close to the facilities). The fire wasn’t the owner’s fault, but his presence and effort to warn everyone mattered. The water in our room was unpredictable – sometimes it was hard to get cold water, and the temperature would swing wildly from hot to scalding without touching the tap, which made us uneasy.

The spot is gorgeous, but getting there without a car is a bit of a hassle.
