The location of the accommodation is perfect, right in front of Bounty beach where we went every day, and there are plenty of dive centers around, which is very convenient. The bathroom is pretty basic but we were aware of that and it didn’t bother us. The toilet tank was broken, yet it still worked, so it didn’t affect our stay.

The location. The Wi‑Fi doesn’t work well, it’s too far from the rooms, and the staff don’t meet expectations—they show no interest in you except to take your money. I was stuck by the typhoon and tried to contact the resort by email and phone, but got no reply. From the moment I arrived, they said “yes we saw you” but the owner wasn’t there. On top of that, the equipment is defective, like the toilets.

“All in all, the cosy feeling of the room made up for the slight inconvenience of the bathroom.”

The room is very large and cozy, bright with big windows, and the balcony is useful, giving a private feel with only a few rooms available. The location by the beach is excellent, close to shops and restaurants. The air‑con is efficient and quiet, and there are mosquito nets on the windows. The bathroom is uncomfortable: the toilet seat isn’t fixed, the shower isn’t separated from the toilet, and there’s no water heater for the shower. However, you rarely need very hot water in Malapascua’s climate, and the open shower in the yard was a good alternative for us.
