The location was good, close to the city center, and there were plenty of shared bathrooms, so you rarely had to wait to use them. The booking system was messy – someone tried to enter my room in the middle of the night because the new arrival wasn’t informed that their room number had changed. There was no AC, so even on cool days you couldn’t stay inside with the windows closed, and if you opened them you’d hear street noise.

Once you managed to get into the hostel, the rooms, bathrooms, and spaces were stylishly furnished. From the outside there was no sign indicating the hostel – you stood on the street in front of a building that Google Maps listed as the destination and had no idea where the hostel was. Perhaps it’s not officially registered with the city. I don’t know why there was no sign. The space was sufficient. Via WhatsApp you were told to meet somewhere to receive the keys for the two outer doors. Earlier emails only mentioned codes for the external and room doors. What do people do without WhatsApp? After entering the code it blinked green and you had about 5 seconds to throw yourself against the hostel door. I mean literally throw. I only managed to open the door after about 20 attempts using all my body weight. The missing sign is a total no‑go.

The location was fine. At night someone tried to enter the room and got stuck. In the morning the door wouldn’t open and no one answered the phones we were given.

The place was okay. It was noisy and the room got very hot at night. Someone set the air conditioning to a high temperature. I might be wrong, but I couldn’t find any air‑con control in my room. Check‑in was a pain – make sure your phone is fully charged.

I stayed in a spacious, tidy room with a good bed, and the location was perfect for us because it was close to the bus station where we caught the flight the next day. The place was very clean and felt safe. However, the window insulation was poor next to the busy road, and the bathroom/toilet doors on the hallway jammed, making a lot of noise at night when someone used them. There was no anti‑slip mat in the shower, and the only hair dryer was there, but there was no outlet in the bathroom, so I couldn’t use a razor.
