There's plenty of space in the lounge and kitchen/diner, but the boothhouse is a drawback.

The bed/mattress could have been better, and the shower was difficult to use with the water not draining well.

The accommodation was quite original, housed in a boat warehouse. It was quiet, comfortable, and very spacious, able to host 4 to 6 people easily, though the stairs to the upper floor were not very convenient. Its location by the water offered a nice view, and even though Lauwersoog itself has little to offer, the spot sits right at the junction of the Lauwersmeer and Schiermonnikoog. Parking was straightforward. The Wi‑Fi was weak, never exceeding 4 Mbps, so we had to switch to 4G. Cleanliness in the bedroom and bathroom left something to be desired.

I was thoroughly impressed with the spacious accommodations and picturesque location of this hotel. The views were stunning, and I felt right at home. However, I must warn those with arachnophobia to steer clear, as the area is teeming with spiders, particularly in the evenings when they seem to come out in droves.

“Heerlijk genoten van een uniek boothuis met een prachtig uitzicht”

Our stay in this unique booth house was an unforgettable experience, with breathtaking views of the Lauwersmeer and a cozy wood-burning stove to warm us up on chilly mornings. The location was ideal, just a stone's throw away from the NPK, a scouting camp where our child was participating.
