I didn’t like staying in the place where the owners live. You could hear them talking, there was no privacy in the bedroom, and when they were in their garden it felt very intrusive.

We had a private, self‑contained stay even though the room and entrance are part of the house; the guests’ entrance and kitchenette were just right for us. We walked 20 minutes to town and 10 minutes to The Red House. Cary and Norman were wonderful hosts who treated us with care, and the whimsical artwork around the place added to the charm. Nothing could be better—highly recommend this spot.

The place is nice with lovely décor and friendly owners, but the blinds didn’t close fully, so we felt a bit exposed, and the kitchenette is tucked up a corridor in the owners’ utility area.
