Ronald and his wife are incredibly kind and available. The property is wonderful, welcoming, and excellent for an unforgettable experience, especially thanks to Ronald. He was not only friendly but also very helpful in arranging transportation for the following days to other islands, guiding us with the local history and letting us feel the essence of how they live. Thank you from the heart. Everything was perfect.

The lodge is magnificent, perched on the lake with a magical view upon waking. We were welcomed with a good meal, fruit and infusions, and a light breakfast. Throughout the day, Ronald took us to visit the Uros Islands community, showing us their culture and daily life. I highly recommend this place 100% if you’re going to Peru—you won’t regret it! More than just accommodation, Ronald, Lizeth (and Daisy!) gave us an experience we’ll remember for a long time.
It was an unforgettable, one‑of‑a‑kind experience. The guests were super kind and had to get up early to pick us up and drop us back in Puno, for which we’re very grateful. It’s a very unique experience I recommend to everyone. Everything was amazing :D
“EINFACH HIMMLISCH!”
The lodge is lovingly furnished, with nothing to complain about. Breakfast was good, and we also ate lunch and dinner there, which we enjoyed. For longer stays, more variety would be desirable. The hosts were super nice, and the excursion with Ronald was very enjoyable and informative; he speaks good English. We especially liked the nighttime quiet and the view of the starry sky. The solar equipment means the water isn’t always warm, and sometimes the power goes out at night, but that’s just how it is. The Wi‑Fi was very difficult and should be better. We didn’t like that a tourist boat passes by during the day, but the host can’t do anything about that.
