The spot is right off the highway and feels pretty calm. But we hit a snag because the room was listed for one adult, and we were three. After checking in, we headed to Kitui town and came back around 10 pm EAT, only to be told to leave because the room could only hold one adult, and now we were two. We walked away and found somewhere else to sleep, wasting the money we’d paid for an hour and a half. Make sure you confirm the room’s occupancy policy with the staff before paying—there’s no refund, even a fraction, and the guy just hung up. This is the worst experience I’ve had in all my stays.
