The owner was friendly and accommodating, offering a cold drink on arrival and letting me have breakfast at 7 am; a large platter of cold cuts for breakfast is unusual in a guesthouse. The house was modest and old; the room’s cleanliness was questionable, the parquet sank in places, and there was no key to lock the hallway door. The toilet and bathroom were shared among several rooms. The neighbors played loud music and talked loudly until 23:30, only stopping after I politely asked them to be quieter. In short, it could work for a short emergency stay, but be aware the comfort isn’t up to the usual standards of regional guesthouses for a comparable price.

Nothing… NO SECURITY: VERY DANGEROUS SETUP… (ELECTRICITY…) DEFECTIVE DOOR AND WINDOW LOCKS, MOVING FLOORS, NO PLINTHS, dusty, disordered… dirty floors, dirty rugs hiding an unstable floor… the shower valve isn’t fixed, the floor isn’t waterproof… the reception was more than surprising and almost unsettling… we were received in a lingerie, a storage room, nothing but a warm and reassuring place.

“Seul le prix dans ces conditions peut inciter des personnes à venir.”

The location was good, but the environment was disappointing: unfinished floor, TV not plugged in, room door without a key, no wardrobe or chest, limited cleanliness, the whole place dusty, and the bathroom switch is a hanging wire (is the electricity compliant?).

“Première fois que nous sommes déçus d’un logement et vu celui ci le prix n’était pas justifié”

The location was fine, but the accommodation was unclean with electrical installations not up to standards, no sink in the kitchen, a fridge that was closed and unplugged, and the floor moved in places.
