Communication with the hotel and the arrival process were perfect. The junior suite was roomy with good facilities, and the staff offered tips and help whenever needed. The atmosphere was relaxed, even though everything isn’t flawless. The heavy leather furniture doesn’t match the green, light vibe of Bacalar, and it would be nice to have extra towels by the pool as a service.

The spot is nice and right in the city centre, but the pool looked big in pictures yet half of it was shallow enough to be a kiddie pool, making the deeper part get crowded quickly. The rooms were spacious but not particularly cozy, and every wall was covered with notes telling you what you could and couldn’t do—there were probably ten of them. I don’t get why people rate it 9; it was fine, but we’ve stayed in much nicer places at other locations.

Our apartment was huge with a separate sitting area, a lovely terrace, a kitchen where we could easily whip up breakfast, a nice pool, and we even enjoyed a meal at the neighbour Mr. Taco’s place; the only flaw was that one mattress wasn’t perfectly firm.

A lovely spot in a great location in Bacalar. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. The bathroom was a bit dated, but that didn't matter. The pool was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
