Everything was spotless, the breakfast was outstanding, and Anne‑Sophie was incredibly friendly and kind; she gave us plenty of useful information before we arrived. We enjoyed the dinner on Friday and adored the dogs—one even greeted us at the door one morning. The view from our room was stunning.

Everything was as described in the other reviews: exceptional attention to detail that makes you feel welcome. The only downside was the mosquitoes 🤬, but that’s beyond her control.

Sophie was an exceptional host, offering loads of useful tips for our outings, and the breakfasts and evening meals were delicious and of high quality. We stayed in a guest‑house room that was exquisite, and after a busy day we loved relaxing in the lovely pool for a few hours. The dogs were delightful. We can 100 % recommend Hygge Lodge and hope to return one day. Nothing negative.

Anne Sophie went above and beyond to make the stay extra cozy with many small details that added to the experience; it’s hard to find something to complain about.
